  • Born on June 18, 1966 in Brussels, Belgium.
  • Master of clinical psychology (five years course of study /ULB university, Brussels).
  • University diploma of sleep specialism from the French Sleep Research and medicine Society (SFRMS).
  • Training at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital sleep ward, Los Angeles.
  • Specialist in sleep and wake/sleep circadian rhythm disorders since 1993.
  • Regular member of the Belgian and the American Sleep Association.
  • Assistant director of the Center for Studying Sleep (four beds and 2 home appliances) at the Edith Cavell Hospital, Brussels.
  • Since 1995, Mr Pec has been providing consultations to help travellers, patients suffering of a circadian disorder, and night and shift workers.
